Day 3 of My Diet

Wow…I can’t believe it’s day 3 already!! Man, time really does fly by. As I mentioned yesterday, I was more determined than ever to lose weight. I even went to the mall to find some exercise equipment. I ended up buying the Tony Little’s Gazelle Edge Glider. It’s awesome! It keeps track of things like time, speed, distance, pulse, and even how many calories you have burned.

I was using it while I was watching tv. It’s so perfect! Instead of sitting on the couch, I’m actually working many parts of my body at once. It works your hips, thighs, upper arms, stomach and so much more body areas. Plus, when it’s not in use, you can fold it up and store it in a closet. Pretty sweet! It only cost $159.96(CDN) at Wal-Mart. Not bad at all for a product that is so easy to use.

On other news, I noticed that each day I’m heading to bed really early. Before I started my diet, I was getting about five hours of sleep. I was going to bed at 3-4am and getting up between 9-10am. Not much time to energize. Now it’s completely different. I have been going to bed between 10-11pm and then getting up at 9-10am. It’s really great since it’s more time to sleep, which we all know you are suppose to get at least 8hrs of sleep per night.

So today I weighed myself again. I lost one pound. That is great because that’s what I aimed at losing each day. Of course the more I lose in a day is also great too. But one pound is good enough for me. I am seriously very happy at the sight of pounds dropping. Like I said in my previous posts, I have never had pounds drop because they always went up instead. Hopefully with the new glider I bought, I’ll be getting my daily exercise everyday which will hopefully help me to stay healthy and lose weight. So the image on the side is my official weigh-in today.

Stats:
lost lbs: 4.5 so far
current: 294.0 lbs
start weight: 298.5 lbs
feelings: happy, pumped up, legs and arms hurt from using the glider for 30 minutes

    Great job, Tina!

I’ve lost about 24 pounds. What I did was to start eating regular, but smaller meals through the day, going for walks and getting more sleep.

Another thing that seems to help is taking vitamins. I take Iron, Calcium and Folic Acid.

Keep up the good work! I will definitely have to check out that Edge Glider!
